Flexible Packaging Buyer - (Lake Forest, IL)

This position is for Pactiv, a company of Reynolds Group Holding Inc.Pactiv is looking for full-time Flexible Packaging Buyer who will coordinate purchasing and vendor scheduling for packaging components of printed film and bags to meet multiple plants production schedules. The Buyer will report to the Purchasing Manager and will collaborate together with Integrated Business Planning, Procurement Strategic Sourcing and Operations to achieve their objectives: POSITION SUMMARY: Coordinate and execute purchasing for packaging of printed film and bags to ensure a smooth flow of materials to meet production plans across operations network. Coordinate with scheduling and planning for production locations to ensure achievement of order fill rate and target inventory levels by SKU with best EOQ across the organization with manufacturing lead times of six to 8 weeks.
