Purchasing / Planning Manager - (Manchester, IA)

Overview This position will schedule production priorities for all manufacturing departments to enable an efficient running factory that ensures customer satisfaction. This position is responsible for requisitioning the appropriate materials required for the plant and distribution center. Position is responsible for ensuring material delivery schedules meet in-house build schedule while maintaining min inventory levels. The incumbent works within established policies, procedures, practices, and regulations. Responsibilities Maintain shop floor production control. Manage Warehouse Supervisor, and Materials Coordinator Schedule the manufacturing process for each department. Review and maintain proper bill of materials specification records for shop floor and usage variance control as provided by corporate. Review daily production and variance reporting. Evaluate production capability to projected demand. Forecast and requisition appropriate raw materials for the D.C. and manufacturing processes.
