Collection System Operator I, II, III, IV, V City of Hagerstown - Wastewater Division $16.74 - $20.32 hourly. The City is seeking a Collection System Operator for its Wastewater Division. This position works from detailed instructions and under standard procedures, methods and practices to operate and maintain the City of Hagerstown's wastewater utility. This position mandates utilization of trade knowledge in a specialized field of wastewater collection system operation and maintenance, as well as a continuing-ed through the MDE Water and Wastewater Operator Certification process. The duties of this position include, but are not limited to, performing related labor as required; operating equipment to ensure the efficient operation of the collection system; troubleshooting and performing any type of preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance to wastewater division equipment and facilities pertaining to the wastewater system; assisting other divisions/departments during emergencies.
