Maintenance Tech - (Statesboro, GA)

Job overview:Expertise to perform PM's troubleshoots, repair and rebuild equipment without direct supervision. (Individual will also be expected to control inventory and enter in work being done on equipment with computerized maintenance program.) Essential Position duties: Inventories and controls stock of supplies with computerized maintenance program. Specifies equipment for upgrades and repairs. Able to perform p.m.'s as required such as lubricants and dismantling and cleaning of parts, overhead hoists and conveyor belts. General fabrication skills such as welding (ARC, MIG & TIG), torch, cutting equipment, able to follow simple blue prints and grinders. Expertise to read blue prints. Performs duties in a safe manner using all approved safety equipment as instructed. Able to apply general mechanical knowledge/abilities in basic electrical blue prints and meters. Reads and understands blue prints and wiring diagrams used in diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems.
