Apply Pastry-Line Cook Chicago, IL Pastry Department Apply Description Position title: Pastry -Line Cook Department: Operations FLSA: Non-exempt Status: Part-time & Full-time Reports to: Pastry Supervisor Customary Days: Sunday - Saturday Customary Hours: Varies to include evenings, holidays, and extended hours as business requires Position description: The Pastry Line Cook is responsible for maintaining food quality, presentation and safety standards. Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare food as requested according to recipe guidelines in an efficient manner. Prep breakfast and pastry product for the day based on prep list. Ensure proper preparation and presentation in accordance to event guidelines. Maintain safety sanitation and standards at all times. Report to work in proper uniform as outlines in the Back of the House Dress Code Policy. Perform other relevant duties as required.
