SHIFT: Rotating nights. CRITICAL SKILLS: MUST HAVE A BACHELOR'S DEGREE, NO ASSOCIATES DEGREE. Previous background as a Medical Technologist in a hospital setting preferred. Must have ASCP or equivalent. The Medical Technologist is responsible for analyzing various chemical, microscopic and bacteriologic tests to provide physicians with pertinent details regarding the patient's health. Required functions: Collects specimens. Performs specimen analysis and other tasks and procedures in hematology, urinalysis, serology, blood banking, chemistry and microbiology. Reports analysis results appropriately. Other duties as assigned.
