The CVICU Pediatric Clinical Practice Leader CNS ensures that nursing is held to high standards of excellence using evidence-based practice within the Pediatric CVICU. The Clinical Practice Leader for the Pediatric Cardiac ICU acts in the role of a Clinical Nurse Specialist and develops educational programs for nursing staff and acts as a mentor and expert in the realm evidence-based nursing practice. This is an exciting opportunity to lead process improvement projects and provide ongoing clinical training within the hospital’s Pediatric Critical Care departments as an authority in Quality nursing standards.
