Self Employment Outreach Specialist - (Madison, WI)

Under the general supervision of the Stout Vocational Rehabilitation Institute and, the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR), the Self-Employment Outreach Specialist will provide support and guidance to eligible DVR consumers/clients with a goal of self-employment (start-up, customized, or existing business). These positions serve as DVR self-employment experts. The Specialist will work with a consumer in exploring his/her business plan or existing business, assist consumers in progressing through DVR's self-employment programs and policies, and provide case management, outreach, and follow-along services. The Specialist will also gather data metrics, develop success strategies, and make programmatic change recommendations. These state-wide positions are located in either the Milwaukee region, Madison region, or Wausau region. Regional and statewide travel is required.
