CAD Drafter - (Chesterfield, MO)

Position description CAD Operator Chesterfield, MO $18.00-20.00/hour CAD Operator will transform initial rough product designs using computer aided design (CAD) into working documents. CAD Operator Assistant Responsibilities: Follow the instructions provided by the cognizant engineer on a design project to complete part models, assemble hardware into models and to create 2D drawings for the fabrication and assembly of the equipment the engineer has designed Contact engineering staff pertinent to the project they are currently assigned and to continue development of the CAD models and drawings pertaining to that project. CAD Operator Critical skills/Background: Formal 3D CAD modeling, assembly and drafting training required. Technical school diploma for 3D CAD with SolidWorks background highly desired. Training and exposure to ASME Y14.100, ASME Y14.1, ASME and ASME Y14.5 desired. Applicant will be mentored with constant growth in CAD capabilities expected.
