Estimator If you are a Construction Estimator with vertical construction background, please read on! What You Will Be Doing - Attending bid meetings (pre-bids, existing building review, subcontractor coordination, etc.) - Selecting required vendors needed for solicitation - Answering all vendor questions - Performing quantity takeoffs - Identifying key elements of a project - Clarifying various items with the design team - Scheduling/adjusting project duration on company calendar What You Need for this Position 5+ years of relevant estimating background and: - Bachelors Degree (Construction Management, Engineering, or Similar) - Proficiency with Microsoft office suite - Background with subcontractor solicitations - Commitment to quality - Quantity Takeoffs - Prior takeoff background with site work, concrete, and/or masonry - Prior background with ISQFT is a PLUS - Familiarity with AIA contracts is a PLUS - Value engineering background is a PLUS
