Distribution Warehouse ADM - (Munster, IN)

This part-time position performs the manual labor aspects of distribution center operations as assigned by the Distribution Center Manager.Key functions & Responsibilities: Participates in all the daily operations at a Distribution Center. Assists in opening and closing the Distribution Center. Unloads and stacks newspapers to designated areas. May deliver open routes (while maintaining established service levels). May deliver replacement copies at the customer's request. Maintains safety and cleanliness of work area All other warehouse work assigned by Distribution Center Manager.Essential Requirements: Expertise to unload bundles of newspapers (approximately. 30 pounds.) multiple times on a daily basis. Expertise to perform open routes. Expertise to move around the facility, both inside and outside. Expertise to work weekends, holidays and early morning hours(available at 12:00am). Expertise to work in warehouse type environment. Expertise to function at night in adverse conditions.
