Virtual Sales Engineer MarketStar's client team currently has an opportunity available for a Virtual Sales Engineer who will be responsible to work with Channel Sales Management and team to provide pre-sales technical support. The Virtual Sales Engineer will be part of the Solutions Center team providing support for the Systems Engineers by logging into the call queue, taking incoming technical calls and creating and managing cases in the case management tool. Responsibilities & Attributes for Success: Provide centralized, phone-based, top-tier, pre-sales support to inside sales, outside sales, partners and distributors through a dedicated 800 phone number Classify, filter, and escalate professional service cases to the correct teams Act as a technical resource for inside sales, outside sales, partners and distributors Conduct hardware and software demonstrations Gather and summarize contact data for partners and collect details relevant to activity and effort reporting metrics
