Food Service Worker (Per Diem - $12 Entrance Rate) - (Covington, LA)

Summary of the Job: Maintains a clean department. Delivers carts and other items to the nursing units in a timely and efficient manner. Picks up carts from the nursing units. Works the tray line, dish room, line trays, roll silverware, etc. Helps wherever and whenever needed to ensure trays are prepared and delivered to patients within established timelines. Communicates politely and effectively with staff and patients. Assumes the role of patient advocate.# Helps wherever and whenever needed. Demonstrates acceptance of CARES and HAACP standards. # Min Requirements: No background necessary. Must be able to communicate effectively and follow both verbal and written instructions. Preferred Requirements: High-school certificate or GED preferred. Physical requirements:##### Must possess good physical health.# Some requirements include but are not limited to standing or walking for long periods of time.# Lifting at least 50 lbs is required.# Must be able to work with a moderate level of noise.
