SUMMARY: Assists in providing a superior gaming background to each guest. Performs duties to prepare and cook foods as instructed, and maintains a clean prep area. ESSENTIAL Assignments include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Checks and ensures adequate supply of foods and seasonings in prep and line area. Ensures that product is available and completes prep work for buffet team. Prepares desserts, entrees, soups and other foods of medium complexity per instructions. Operates steamer, oven, slicer and other cooking equipment. Recommends adjusting cycles of menus based on food quantities and guest demands. Ensures cleanliness of food preparation areas following safety rules and health department codes and regulations. Ensures that FIFO practices are in place. Retrieves and delivers prepared items form necessary areas to buffet line. Opens outlet as instructed in a timely fashion. Assists during service to set up, replenish and breakdown buffet line.
