job description: Our client is looking for a SQL Database Administrator for a Direct-Hire opportunity in Arlington, TX or Sarasota, FL . Responsible for the performance, integrity and security of the databases at the enterprise level. Actively participates in the planning, development and resolution of problems related to the administration of databases. Bachelor's degree in Info Systems and min of 4 (4) years of background in installation, configuration, analysis and performance of databases, their components and related technologies, or combination of education and equivalent background required. 4 (4) years of background and knowledge in support of production environment with focus on technical support "in-house" for technical and non-technical personnel at the company level. 4 (4) years of background in the monitoring, analysis and maintenance of health and availability of databases in both Oracle and MS-SQL.
