Associate Editor / Writer - (King George, VA)

This position is contingent upon contract award and requires and active Secret clearance. Cape Fox is currently seeking an Associate Editor to support Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD). This role will be responsible for providing strategic counsel, planning and execution of internal and external communications for NSWCDD. The duties also include informing, promoting and marketing the success of NSWCDD, as well as the workforce, local community leaders, and elected officials. Write, edit, proofread and copyedit a variety of documents, magazines, social media content, marketing and advertising articles, and press releases. Research, develop, investigate and write a variety of science-based and human interest stories through a variety of sources including interviews, networking, open-source resources and publications, and news outlets.
