Assistant Controller - (West Palm Beach, FL)

Summary This job is primarily responsible for financial activities such as planning, procurement, and investments for all or part of the organization. Prior background working in accounting in the automobile dealership field is strongly preferred. Essential Job duties and Duties Oversee cash management, billing, and/or deal administration Responsible for deal unwinds, rewinds, structure changes, and/or account transfers. Post deposits, wire transfers, and ATM's. Assists the Controller with financials as needed, which may include assisting payroll. Responsible for Nextgear floorplan inspections. Computes monthly sales washouts and taxes. Responsible for AGRRs, void checks, PBX's, NSF log, various schedules, wholesale gross finalized, sales gross finalized, Boats Direct and Off Lease Only holdings, car wizard compensation. Manages the NSF log and requests legal intervention when required. Processes insurance claims. Applies for and manages permits and licensing. Manages banking and bank reconciliations.
