Animal/Veterinary Science Instructor - (Montague, MA)

Supports the selection of and requisitions textbooks, instructional aids, equipment, tools, materials, supplies, and technology as required, working under established budget and procedures. Teaches Animal/Veterinary Science skills and knowledge to provide students with the competence to be an economic asset to the employer. Instructs students in basic communication abilities, and other general elements of the competency-based course of study common to all teachers. Develops lessons, maintains up-to-date curriculum maps and organizes class time so that preparation, instruction, clinic work, and clean-up activities can be accomplished within the allotted time. Creates and implements assessments that measure student understanding of the vocational frameworks and proficiency in the required skills in Animal Science. Demonstrates high level knowledge of occupational materials, equipment, technology, and processes.
