Sr project engineer - (Pasadena, TX)

Project Engineers may support development of a new facility or processing unit or drive the plans for capital projects at 1 of our existing plants. Depending on the specific job, the projects can range from small to large CAPEX, with multi-million dollar scope. The Project Engineers typically are responsible to: Lead and manage projects through a standard stage gate approval process. Design and implement projects to improve safety and environmental performance, product quality, and reliability, increase capacity, reduce cost, and optimize the overall plant performance. Work with engineering contractors and/or other engineering-discipline employees to finalize process design and develop P&IDs for the project, set up engineering specifications and standards, define interface arrangements with other processing units or facilities and provide direction in the design development process.
