Mechanical Engineer (Ravenna, Ohio) Our client, a specialty chemical company (a supplier of both precious and base metal catalysts), is currently hiring a Mechanical Engineer to support Engineering design and product analysis efforts. This position is a Contract without an end date. Engineer will be responsible for installing product, conducting product performance testing, and for recording, analyzing and validating performance data. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Works closely with the Engineering team, along with Operations, Production and the Reaction Technology teams. Applies existing engineering concepts, taking a complete view, to solve complex issues. Responsible for researching, inventing, developing, and implementing new products and processes, as well as for making improvements to existing products and processes. Apply engineering principles to design, develop, modify, or improve products and processes. Review and test designs to ensure accuracy, performance, commercial viability, and safety.
