Shelter Aftercare Bilingual Caseworker - (Valhalla, NY)

Job details The Aftercare Case Worker, under close supervision of Clinical personnel and the Program director, will work towards addressing the ongoing service needs of children and families who have been discharged from the Sanctuary Runaway and Homeless youth program in order to ensure a stable and effective transition into the community and prevent recidivism. Position Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related position. Prior Background with at risk populations and child care settings preferred Expertise to function with expanded autonomy based on knowledge of Case Management responsibilities. Min very good performance evaluation as Caseworker I. Driver's license. Solid written and verbal skills including expertise to successfully manage multiple tasks. Computer literate Excellent people skills and cultural competency Strong management skills
