Senior storage engineer - ires - safb - united states - (Colorado Springs, CO)

The Storage Engineer supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research & Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The Storage Engineer will provide project engineering support and will specialize in managing and operating a virtualized environment to include storage Solutions HP three PAR. The successful applicant will support the following: build out and maintenance of specialized and complex integration and test laboratories; install system software; provide maintenance, break fix activities, operating instructions and maintenance procedures; perform impact assessments, project planning and design activities; determine future requirements of hardware/software; assist with trade studies for new systems; will provide back -up for other administrators and engineers duties including personnel leadership, process improvements, and metrics analysis on storage solutions. Applicant must be able to quickly adapt to new situations and technologies and accomplish organizational goals.
