Parking Attendant - (Asheville, NC)

Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC) seeks to fill a full time, benefited position of Maintenance Technician to join the Facilities Management Team. This position will be involved in parking management on a daily basis, and will be the primary back up for the employee shuttle drivers. Responsible for monitoring parking lots, directing employee and visitor parking, and assisting in enforcement of the Biltmore Campus Parking policy. Will also assist the Facilities team with other duties as needed. Hours are Monday thru Friday 6:30AM to 3:30PM. Some weekend work required. Will be on call on a rotating basis, approx once every 4-6 weeks. This position necessitates a valid NC driver's license and a high-school certificate or equivalent. Must demonstrate appropriate customer service orientation in all interactions within the organization and with patients, visitors, and employees. Outstanding communication expertise. Background parking vehicles and directing traffic preferred.
