Machine Tool Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd Shift - (Attica, IN)

The Machine Tool Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for all maintenance issues in the Machine Operations Department. This job has no supervisory duties. Individual reports to the Maintenance Machining Supervisor. After training, the successful applicant will work 2nd shift, from 3-11:30 p.m. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Installs and maintains all machine tools, troubleshoots and repairs all electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic problems. Reads and understands mechanical prints and electrical schematics associated with machine tools. Recommends and selects required repair parts, using parts manuals, mechanical drawings and electrical schematics. Schedules and performs preventive maintenance on machine tools. Trains and instructs operators in the proper care and operation of their machine. Contacts manufacturers for technical advice on specific machine problems. Expertise with basic mathematics, and expertise to convert between the Metric System and English Units.
