Promote Safety and Health Program - to prevent injuries and illnesses from work related causes, and to minimize losses of material resources and interruptions from accidental occurrences. It is directed toward the control of all types of hazards encountered in the performance of on the position assignments. Responsibilities Safety & Health Awareness Distribute read and signs, bulletins and posters for location and discuss new procedures with station personnel. Accident Prevention Perform safety audits on warehouse and ramp operations and provide feedback to management Issue safety warnings/tickets as preventable measures Safety Monitoring Hold safety committee meetings and provide feedback to management Review station audits Review station incidents/accidents/injuries Review station statistics to determine areas of improvement Stimulate hourly personnel involvement in the safety culture Distribute safety awards as established in company guidelines Accident/Incident Reporting, Investigation
