Jr. java developer - (Dearborn, MI)

The Junior Java Developer will be planning, implementing, integrating, automating, and maintaining a selection of our client's server and desktop commercial tools applications (eg GitHub, Agile Central, Docker, Slack, Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube, AccuRev, uBuild, RSA, Eclipse, oxygen, soapUI, etc.) and help determine and deploy new tools required by developers globally. Responsibilities: Handle and enhance the uBuild Java build process (Ant, Gradle, Maven) and any necessary integrations (Nexus, SonarQube, HTEAM, etc.) Make coding updates to build framework tools (Java, ant) as needed Interact with vendors escalating issues/requests for tools as needed Manage development tool life cycle Make new development tools available to developers Create installation scripts and/or work with packaging team to create deployment package Create automation scripts to streamline processes and reduce turnaround time Work with line of business group to test and certify packages Provide up-to-date info about tool usage
