Entry level Roadway Design Anayst - (Austin, TX)

The Transportation EITperforms professional engineering work by applying standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out routine engineering tasks under supervision. Responsibilities : The Transportation EIT: Provides support to the professional engineering staff in the development of roadway and drainage plans and design. Performs routine aspects of civil engineering assignments such as grading, drainage, paving, geometric design, utility design, etc. Applies prescribed methods to complete limited and specific portions of the broader assignment. Other duties as assigned. Minimum requirements : Degree in engineering or related position. EIT certification or expertise to acquire same within three months.
