Mechanical Assembly Technician - (Tucson, AZ)

MAJOR DUTIES: Under general direction, builds, installs and troubleshoots mechanical assemblies, mechanical components, hardware and equipment with a quality and timely focus in order to build special-purpose machinery, robotic work cells and factory automation projects. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: From time to time you may be asked to fulfill the lead role for your discipline. Take direction from the Manufacturing Manager or the designated Lead Machine Builder. Using the design package and customer specifications for reference; plans and coordinates work required to assemble systems and sub-assemblies. Perform machine build integration support and installations tasks. Report any issues regarding workmanship or design to the Lead Machine Builder or the Manager. Ensure that all print updates are being completed and that rework is properly recorded.
