Database Engineer (Experienced) with Security Clearance - (Albuquerque, NM)

What Your Job Will Be Like Serve as the database engineer for enterprise or direct mission data solutions. Utilize database platforms that support both custom applications and commercial software solutions. On any give day you may be called upon to: * Use and/or develop solutions that encompass database structure; security; performance tuning; installation planning, testing, and execution; back-up and recovery specifications; potentially data warehousing, and potentially database virtualization. * Be responsible for the daily operations and functioning of database systems which includes implementing and maintaining software, tools, and processes to effectively manage the database solutions. * Work in a managed team environment to resolve day-to-day database issues which involve a variety of customers and developers and requires effective collaboration. * Interface with infrastructure partners in the delivery of our services such as network, middleware and system administrators.
