Safety and training manager - (Seattle, WA)

Overview The Safety and Training Manager (Fixed Route) will be responsible for developing, communicating, and enforcing safety policies and procedures at the transit location in compliance with federal, state, local regulations and Transdev policies. This is for proposed business all offers are contingent upon Transdev's award of the contract. Responsibilities Maintains adequate staffing levels. Ensures that staff is adequately trained and understands and executes on safety and security standards. Ensures compliance with all company, client, and Department of Transportation regulations, policies, and procedures. Conduct, review and document facility safety inspections and assist in the correction of deficiencies. Ensures that all reporting and risk management tools are up-to-date and correct at all times. Investigates vehicle accidents and employee injuries. Prepares and submits related reports as required. Develops local accident and injury prevention plans & programs.
