CIVILIAN JAILER City of Kettering, OH Police Department. - Recruiting for full time Civilian Jailer for the City of Kettering's Municipal Jail. This position is a BFOQ male-only position. Applicants must have successfully completed at least 1 year of continuous service as a full time corrections officer or jailer in a jail or correctional facility and possess an OPOTC Corrections Officer Basic Training Certificate or its equivalent and must have been employed as a full time jailer or corrections officer in a correctional facility or jail within the last calendar year from application due date (3/18/18); and must possess a high-school certificate or equivalent. This full time position offers excellent wages ($23.36/hr.-$30.06/hr.) with great benefits; entry rate is contingent upon candidate's related skills, knowledge and abilities.
