Legal Counsel - Real Estate - (Springfield, MO)

The Legal Counsel - Real Estate will supervise and complete the negotiation and administration of contracts for the purchase, sale, and lease of real property. This position will identify, analyze, and resolve title, survey, environmental, and design issues to determine feasibility of property purchases and leases and will advise and counsel the Real Estate department and other relevant stakeholders regarding the same. Essential Job Functions Prepare legal documents required for the acquisition and disposition of real property interests and construction of improvements, including contracts, easements, development agreements and indemnification agreements. Supervise completion of contract/lease contingencies and conditions during executory period of purchase contracts and leases. Identify, analyze and resolve title, survey, environmental, and design issues to determine feasibility of property purchases and leases. Coordinate closing of real estate purchase and sale contracts and leases.
