Packer - (Bell, CA)

Overview This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workplace environment. Support the assembly line by assisting with the production of finished goods, packing quality products, maintaining productivity at standard line speed and assisting with rework. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assembly / packing daily production in to saleable containers Assure that finished packaged goods are inserted into proper carton/containers and palletized according to stacking pattern. Keep work area free of debris, spilled product, and any unsafe condition, which will jeopardize safety and product quality. Performs other tasks as needed such as: Make boxes Help other packers Open re-work product Responsible for reporting food safety and quality issues and initiate action Follow work instructions from Supervisor/Lead, and Quality Control to assure quality specification Rotate to other areas in the packaging room as needed Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's)
