Purchasing Manager - (North Las Vegas, NV)

The Purchasing Manager manages all purchasing activities and establishes strategic purchasing processes and procedures. Job requirements: Develop and manage partnerships with vendors Assist in contract negotiations for major purchases Collaborate closely with Planning team and Department heads to ensure timely delivery of raw material and enable manufacturing facility to achieve 100% on-time-delivery Drives quality improvement initiatives with the vendors that are consistent with customer expectations Participates in S&OP process and ensures alignment of raw material supply against customer forecast Manages company s day-to-day purchasing activities and ensures that all purchasing agents are meeting their personal performance standards Evaluates and analyzes purchasing trends and price trends to identify forecasting demand and minimize purchasing costs Collects and reports on Supply Chain Metrics on a weekly basis Manages Purchasing Agent Minimum requirements: Job Requirements:
