Quality Engineer - (Plainville, CT)

Position details Our client is looking for two Quality Engineers to lead the QA for this location. They ensure the quality of the parts produced meet customer expectations; quickly and effectively take action when non-conformances are found. Capable of working through customer, design and process qualifications to ensure customer specification is met on time. Regularly reviews customer qualifications and communicates changes to the appropriate parties in the business Oversees customer returns, customer corrective actions, and internal corrective actions Drives timely completion of corrective actions, internal and externalMonitors and supports customer PPAP completion as required to support supply base changes, new product launches and manufacturing changes Supports NPD / APQP activities and new tooling capabilities (C-QSP-009/015) Administrates ECO notifications to production / suppliers Issues SCARs or NCRs for production floor issues Supports production needs (locally and globally)
