Payroll Coordinator - (Ridgewood, NY)

Job summary Andromeda Advantage Inc. is looking for an experienced Payroll Coordinator to join our Finance department. As the Payroll Coordinator you will work together with our Controller to process weekly payroll for our entities. To succeed in this role you do need to have an analytical mind as well as curiosity and have a true passion for it Responsibilities Process weekly timesheets, time clock records and other time records to accurately pay staff for time worked and benefits used to ensure compliance, accuracy and efficiency Manage Time & Attendance with support staff and supervisors while maintaining precise payroll records Union/Prevailing Wages & Benefits Reporting experience preferred Remit weekly payroll taxes on-line IRS/NYS45 payroll taxes quarterly filing Process all verified valid pay corrections and edits as requested and approved by the Controller and/or senior management in accordance with standard payroll practices Distribute weekly payroll reports to management as assigned Prepare monthly
