Construction Project Engineer Position overview Job Summary The Project Engineer administrates site construction activities and coordinates preconstruction documents from the architect and subcontractors as required to support the project manager and superintendent in accomplishing the work of the contract. This includes maintaining efficient document control and an organized job site workspace. The Project Engineer reports to the Project Manager. Core responsibilities Safety o Promote safety at the job site. o Document safety infractions in the daily reports. Works to ensure that contract specifications are adhered to. o Translate and coordinate project document details. Submittal, RFI's, contract docs for field use. o ldentify contract document conflicts and recommend solutions. o Provide technical support to the construction team and review procedures submitted by contractors to ensure compliance with schedules, and standards and specifications.
