CAD Drafter - Contract to Hire - (Mechanicsville, VA)

Position overview Our customer, the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is hiring a Telecom Designer in Mechanicsville, VA. The position of Telecom Designer entails creating computer-aided designs, such as those used for construction projects and for permitting purposes. Tasks for this position will include some field work, using computer-aided drafting softwares, reading road plans and plats, and performing QA/QC checks on projects. The knowledge, skills, and experiences that are required for this job include the following: Background in using recent versions of AutoCAD/AutoCAD Civil 3D in 2-dimensional applications (only some 3D work may be involved; operations are currently using 2019 versions of CAD) Basic knowledge of telecommunication/utility design principles
