Facilities Technician 2 - (State College, PA)

Maintains and repairs the facility's structure and equipment, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. DUTIES: Maintain a safe and clean work atmosphere. Coordinate and support on site vendors and contractors. Support Manufacturing by daily safe removal of used chemicals and provides new chemicals. Work with Gigabiters to dispose of sensitive parts and scrap materials. Do snow removal and ice /salt management as needed in conjunction with contractors. Do painting and general duties to maintain positive appearance of the facility. Assists facilities Supervisor/Manager to maintain daily operations of the physical facility. Completes facilities maintenance, installation and relocation assignments such as moving equipment, office fixtures, furniture, etc. Maintains building performing painting, plumbing, minor electrical wiring, minor structural modifications and other related maintenance activities. This may include assisting with chair / table / other set up for company functions.
