Skills and Responsibilities Lead product development projects from the concept phase to manufacturing launch Write project and product qualifications specifications Directly interface with customers to clearly and concisely communicate technical info. Architect and design hardware solutions by analyzing the performance and feasibility of alternative hardware concepts using circuit theory and simulations. Implement physical hardware designs by selecting components, capturing schematics and supervising PCB layouts Supervise external contractors; work with outside labs Support the assembly of prototypes by providing documentation and assistance to ensure high-quality prototypes are built in a timely manner.
