Testing Engineer II (Bellefonte,PA) - (State College, PA)

SUMMARY The Testing Engineer ensures that product qualifications and quality standards are satisfied. Testing Engineer will be using standard ANSYS processes and will contribute to defining new processes to fit with the qualifications of new emerging products. This opportunity is for the QA of Products by testing and validating daily/weekly builds, certifying ANSYS products on new operating systems and validating testing tools. A successful candidate will work closely with developers and other testers to deliver quality software that delights our customers. RESPONSIBILITIES Performs software product testing and investigates possible causes of problems according to the company's overall development and testing processes. Ensures stability of daily builds so other development teams can work with the build. Performs functional, application, regression and performance tests in a manual and/or automated test environment. Performs coverage analysis and takes responsibility for test coverage in specific areas.
