Controls System Design Engineer - (Novi, MI)

Position details Controls System Design Engineer Position information Sets up and programs Siemens and Allen Bradley servo systems. (Drives, motors) Designs and manages the design of electrical cabinets, fluid systems, pneumatic, lube, hydraulic and coolant systems. Ensure the systems meet the project specifications. Participates in Operations meetings, Turn Over meetings, and other meetings as required. Work with suppliers and Purchasing to develop quotes and vender line ups. Releases components and emblies to Purchasing. ists manufacturing with issues that arise during the embly and testing phase. ist Service with any issues that arise after shipping. Work in a team environment between the functions of Engineering, Quality urance, Purchasing and other departments. Basic requirements Must have experience in the machine tool industry. Minimum 5-7 yrs experience in electrical and fluids control engineering design of metal removal machinery.
