A health insurance company needs candidates for an opening for a Remote Medicare Corporate Medical Director.Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities: Provide insight and feedback to Group Medicare clients and leadership regarding claims background Provide medical interpretation and decisions about the appropriateness of services Advise executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific)Requirements for this position include: MD or DO degree A current and unrestricted license in at least 1 jurisdiction and willing to obtain license, as required, for various states in region of assignment Board Certified in an approved ABMS Medical Specialty Knowledge of the managed care industry including Medicare, Medicaid and or Commercial products Possess analysis and interpretation skills with prior background leading teams All other requirements necessary for this position
