Diesel Maintenance Shop Supervisor - (Parker, CO)

Under the general supervision of the Regional Maintenance Manager, the Shop Supervisor oversees maintenance shop staff and the maintenance and repair of equipment, administrative activities and general shop operations. Supervises maintenance shop staff in all facets on multiple shifts. Interviews and trains new hires. Coaches, counsels and administers discipline. Assists in setting shop goals for maintenance and safety programs. Oversees the management of parts, tires and supply inventories. Instructs technicians in the proper use of diagnostic tools and computer software to assist in troubleshooting all types of equipment. Ensures technicians are employing proper preventative maintenance and repair practices on equipment in a timely fashion. Works to maximize productivity amongst his/her group of technicians. Manages proper work flow of approvals and payment processing for both internal and external orders. Recognizes expense trends and implements cost saving opportunities.
