Maintenance Worker I City of Sonoma ($4,122 to $5,010 per month). This recruitment is being conducted to fill one position in the Public Works Department. This position involves semi- skilled labor in construction, maintenance and repair of streets, parks, cemeteries and water distribution systems. The ideal applicant will have the ability to perform unskilled and semi-skilled tasks in a variety of construction and maintenance activities; to learn to operate a variety of vehicular and stationary mechanical equipment in a safe and effective manner in routine situations; to understand and follow oral and written instructions; to perform heavy manual labor; and to maintain cooperative relationships with fellow workers.
