Necessary skills & Background: BS degree in a technical field - preferably in Electrical Engineering, Network Engineering, Computer Engineering with concentration in network engineering. 2-five years min hands-on background in-home network technologies. Prefer background with Quality of Service (QoS) and multicast video delivery. 2-five years background with the TCP/IP protocol suite and technologies (IP, IPv6, QoS, IGMP, TCP, UDP, ARP, NAT, DHCP, DNS, LAN and WAN, Routers, Switches, Throughput and Latency, etc.) 2-5 yrs hands-on background configuring and testing, diagnosing, troubleshooting in-home router features and services. 2-5 yrs executing tests and preparing test plans and test reports. 2-5 yrs background with Linux and Windows systems and software deployment.
