Junior Level 3D CAD Operator - (Lake Zurich, IL)

Junior Level 3D CAD Operator This is a full-time position for a Junior Level CAD Operator. The perfect applicant will be working in a hands-on product development and prototyping environment. They will be responsible for creating or modifying 3D and 2D customer design models using PTC CREO and Solidworks. Applicant will also be responsible for verifying tight-tolerance parts using a CMM. FAIR, GD&T knowledge and programming using PC-DMIS software on a Gantry CMM, Optical CMM and proficiency using standard inspection tools is a plus. The scope of work we do at Designcraft is highly creative and offers wide latitude for independent judgment and perception. The design of mechanisms, development of prototype processes, custom material selection and manipulation are common activities.
