Help Desk Specialist I - (Alliance, OH)
Job details Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union is currently recruiting for a Help Desk Specialist I. The successful applicant will provide day-to-day and first-line support of network, systems and desktop issues to troubleshoot and diagnose problems. Resolves, tracks and follows up on all Help Desk calls. ESSENTIAL JOB IGNMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Answers employee phone calls to Help Desk and resolves complaints/issues in a timely manner. If needed, accurately refers the user to other departments for istance. When possible, resolves end user's problems with applications, hardware, software and the HVFCU network. Logs incoming trouble tickets into the Help Desk system. Collects data and performs initial diagnosis of new problems. Monitors and updates progress of open trouble tickets. Prioritizes and categorizes open trouble tickets and, when necessary, escalates the outstanding problem to applications support, network support or IT management. Produces ad hoc reports and statistics for IT management.
