Senior Systems Engineer I The Tactical Communications Systems (TCS) Networks Department within the Space and Airborne Systems Center provides leading edge tactical networking products for Department of Defense (DoD) and International defense users. This team, based at Fullerton, California, is responsible for the Design, Architecture, Specification, Development, Test, and Production of ground, dismounted, and airborne tactical networking and data link products. Some aspects of this work are classified. The System Engineering group's activities include: 1) developing coherent product specifications from multiple disparate source documents; 2) developing network system architectures and design; 3) performing analysis of signals in space, receivers and transmitters; 4) developing simulations and analyzing the performance/impact of fielded equipment; 5) managing the qualifications baseline; and 6) ensuring all qualifications are met.
