Associate Scientist II, Manufacturing Sciences Scale-Up Lab (Hudson,MA) - (Hudson, MA)

The applicant will be working in the pilot scale biologics facility supporting AbbVie's Biologics Development and Manufacturing business in Worcester, MA. The applicant will be primarily responsible for supporting downstream activities (i.e. capture and purification) of a variety of initiatives including; Generation of GLP-tox drug substance/intermediate to support preclinical activities Evaluation, development, and implementation of novel manufacturing technologies (e.g. perfusion cell culture, continuous downstream processing, etc.) Scale-up and tech transfer of biological processes to GMP production Writing, review, and execution of GLP batch records Troubleshoot experiments and instrumentation. Understand and adhere to corporate standards regarding code of conduct, safety, appropriate handling of materials, controlled drug and radioactive compounds, GxP compliance, and animal care where applicable.
